If you could have any vehicle (a helicopter, sports car, space ship, yacht, etc.) and a free place to park it, what would you choose, and why?

Well, since space ship is in the list of possibilities...

I would totally have a TARDIS, and it would have a working chameleon circuit. Why? Because a TARDIS can take you any time, any place, and with a working CC, it can blend in to any environment.

Which phrase would you choose to replace the ubiquitous "Have a nice day" phrase?

"Live long and prosper."

Hmmm, seriously, though, I rather like "Namaste."

If you were in solitary confinement for the rest of your life, and you discovered a cockroach in your room, would you kill it or make it your friend?

If it's as cute and has as much personality as WALL-E's pet cockroach, then yeah, I think I'd make it my friend. If not, then I'd definitely kill it.

It is never officially Christmas until you hear Mannheim Steamroller on the radio. So it is officially Christmas.

Well, in a way. See, here in Springfield, Star 92.9 is refusing to play Christmas music until the 22nd in response to the complaints from last year when they started a couple days before Halloween.

I love Christmas music, and I love it when soft rock stations play 24/7 Christmas music, but even I think any time before midnight Halloween night is too early for Christmas music.

However, come 12am November 1st, I'm gonna be expecting Christmas music. So, Star 92.9 has lost a listener to Kansas City's Star 102.1, who already have switched over, and KUDL 98.1 (who have a separate all-Christmas stream on their website) However, as I'm in Springfield, I'm not actually listening on the radio but on the Internet. But it counts.

I don't know why I'm suddenly having dreams that I remember when I wake, but I am. Whereas the last one was sad but warm and comforting, last night's was hot and cold and terrifying and painful and confusing.

A big pillar of sparking fire exploded into the air from behind the leafless trees...Collapse )
I'm actually posting this late on December 12, but I'm dating it for the day I wrote this.

Click the cut for a detailed description of the best dream I've ever had (and yes, it's perfectly family friendly).

Yes, yes, I know. It's been AGES since I last wrote in here. I doubt anyone even looks on here. My Xanga hasn't been updated much either. Though in my defense, my MySpace is fairly up-to-date.

I dunno... I mainly joined LJ because it's the best place to network with fellow fans in various fandoms, and the communities system is great. So, I've probably posted more replies to various community threads than I've posted entries here in my own LJ.

It's difficult to keep up with more than one blog site. I'm trying to decide what to do. I think my Xanga's pretty much kaput. I've gotta go through and copy/paste all the entries I haven't archived (I'm not a paying member, so don't have the convenient "download archives" feature available to me). After that... Well, I dunno if I'll delete my account or just let it sit there.

My MySpace isn't going anywhere. Whereas LJ's great for community, MySpace is the best for networking with friends. I've found so many old friends since I've been on there, even my best friend from 9th grade!

I also have a Blogger/Blogspot account. I'll keep that one since it's already tied to my Google account anyway and I try to reply as much as possible on the Silver Dollar City blog. I've themed that blog of mine to focus just on my fandoms.

So, perhaps I'll use LJ for memes and games and maybe some writing....

I've been dealing with depression for the last few years, and my concentration and motivation have been decreasing exponentially. That's why I can never seem to keep any of my blogs updated. I hate it, too, because I do have a lot to say, but can never figure out how to say it or remember I have something to say long enough to actually say it.

I have tried to recruit my family and friends to LJ. I really like the thread-like entry/comments setup on here. I'd love to create a community for just my family to be on; then we could all keep up with each other in one place. Of course, I tried doing that with Yahoogroups, but perhaps a non-email based group would work better...

So, anyway, I don't know when the next post on here will be. I might start using this for writing; if I do, I'll probably only do it for fan-fiction related writing and non-project writing, since I still have a bit of a thing about sharing too much info online about my pet projects (currently a novel/screenplay/whatever-it-eventually-decides-to-be and a screenplay), in the hopes that one day they might just become something more than just dreams.

Oooo... I might be willing to be more open about my Silver Dollar City writing project. Maybe it'd drum up some interest.

Okay, well, I'm gone for now. See you (if anyone is out there reading) whenever I can remember to update next.

Well, the problem's fixed. Can't for the life of me figure out what happened. My sister swears up and down that she didn't do anything, so I have no clue how I could have received a reset e-mail from my own house when no one who was in my house swears they didn't do anything...

Well, at least it's fixed.

Well, now I'm f'in pissed. First off, I got an e-mail last night from Xanga saying that someone has requested to have MY password changed. Thankfully, their security deal makes it so that you have to receive a link at the e-mail address of the user in order to change the password, so it came to my own e-mail.

Well, then I tried to log in today and now it's saying "Sorry, incorrect login. Signin attempts to this username have been frozen to protect your security. You can attempt to signin again in 30 minutes."

Well, I got that several freakin' hours ago, and it's STILL saying it!!!

The only person I know who was on my computer last night was my sister, and I asked her if she'd tried to get my password... She said no, and I could tell she was telling the truth.

So, someone must be trying to get my password or SOMETHING... Damn it all to hell. I'm fucking pissed.

EDIT: And I DO know that whoever tried to get my password was doing it from MY house, as the e-mail I received was very nice to tell me what the IP was of the person who asked for the password...
